What Our Health Guarantee Covers
Vero Kittens provides a written health guarantee for every kitten placed with a new family in Italy. The guarantee is designed to protect you from unexpected, serious health concerns that could not be seen during routine checks. Your kitten leaves our care in good condition, with normal appetite, clear eyes, clean ears, healthy skin, and a social temperament suitable for a home environment. We share the kitten’s current diet and daily routine so you can maintain consistency during the transition. A copy of the guarantee is provided at pickup, along with care guidance.
Veterinary Checks, Validity, And Owner Responsibilities
Each kitten is examined by a veterinarian before going home, and we monitor growth, weight, behavior, hydration, and overall development throughout kittenhood. To keep the guarantee valid, your kitten should be examined by your veterinarian shortly after arrival. This first check confirms the move went smoothly and helps identify concerns early.
We raise kittens indoors in a clean environment with attention to hygiene, parasite prevention, appetite, stool quality, hydration, and general development. Families receive documentation from the veterinary visit, notes on current care routines, and honest updates if anything unusual appears before pickup so decisions can be made clearly and responsibly.
The guarantee addresses serious hereditary conditions that significantly affect quality of life. If a covered condition is diagnosed within the guarantee period, we review the medical records carefully and discuss a fair next step, which may include support toward veterinary costs or a replacement kitten when available. Conditions caused by injury, neglect, toxic exposure, unsafe environments, poor nutrition, missed veterinary care, or routine minor issues are not covered.
Please keep all paperwork from your kitten’s first veterinary exam and contact us promptly if your vet identifies a serious concern. Prompt communication helps us review the situation thoroughly and support both you and your kitten in a practical, fair way.
Routine owner responsibilities remain important. You agree to provide safe indoor housing, quality food, fresh water, and appropriate veterinary care. We also encourage prompt communication if your vet identifies a serious concern, so we can support you quickly and responsibly.
